Executive Chef Cody Stewart brings to Sugar Magnolia Restaurant an amazing ability to create memorable culinary experiences from the basic staples of Southern cooking. Chef Stewart attended Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, SC and was a chef in the Low Country of South Carolina for eight years. During his time in Charleston, the Chef worked along side Jeff Lanzero, co-founder of the Boathouse Restaurants, and James Beard nominated chefs Paul Whitwell and Bob Wagoneer at the four-star, four-diamond Charleston Place. Prior to opening Sugar Magnolia, Chef Stewart worked at the TPC--Piper Glen.
